At AFA HUB, our Customized Employment Services are designed to support individuals in finding meaningful, sustainable work that aligns with their unique strengths, interests, and support needs. We believe employment should be personalized not one-size-fits-all and built around the individual, not just the job opening.

Using a person-centered and strengths-based approach, we work closely with each participant to explore career goals, identify skills and accommodations, and develop customized pathways to employment. Our team collaborates with employers, families, and funding partners to create opportunities that lead to long-term success and greater independence.

Our Customized Employment Services may include:

Discovery and vocational profile development
Identification of individual strengths, skills, and interests
Job development tailored to the individual, including job carving and task analysis
Employer outreach and relationship building
Negotiation of customized job roles and responsibilities
Support with resumes, interviews, and self-advocacy
Workplace accommodations and assistive technology planning
On-the-job support and stabilization
Ongoing follow-along services to support job retention and growth
